In early 2024, TechConnect’s management committed to enhancing workplace culture through artificial intelligence and tasked me with developing the AI-Powered Culture Program. This initiative was designed to revolutionize employee engagement, foster inclusivity, and create a more dynamic work environment by integrating AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and personalized recommendations. Through this program, we also commit to enhaces employee well-being, collaboration and overall job satisfaction.

2024 is the year where we start to build AI-Powered Culture Program. To further boost the AI-powered culture, TechConnect has introduced AI Pitch Competitions and Hackathons.

These events encourage employees to innovate, collaborate, and develop AI-driven solutions that enhance workplace culture, engagement, and productivity. By fostering a hands-on approach, employees gain valuable skills and contribute directly to the organization’s AI transformation.

We have also delivered a series of AI learning sessions to educate employees on the fundamentals and applications of artificial intelligence in the workplace. Collaborate with Purwadhika, Intel and other parties, we empowered teams with the knowledge to leverage AI tools effectively, improve workflows, and drive innovation within their roles. We Also build and develop several AI platform & RPA such as flight risk, chatbot, etc. to ensure the business model and the way we work is more seamless and effective.

As Head of People Engagement and Culture at TechConnect, I need to the bridging AI innovation with human-centric workplace strategies is in place. Collaborate with various department and division in Techconnect, PEC try to deliver AI-driven initiatives that:

  • Enhance employee experiences through personalization
  • Promote inclusivity by leveraging AI for bias-free decision-making
  • Drive a future-ready workforce by integrating AI into learning and development
  • Increase productivity by integrating AI into operation & HR program. AI-powered automation reduces repetitive, time-consuming tasks, allowing employees to focus on high-value work that requires creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration
  • Ensure proactive well-being support using AI-powered sentiment analysis

The most important is we need to ensure that AI is used not to replace human connection, but to enhance it, creating a dynamic, engaged, and future-proof workplace. Human Connection can never be replaced.

Going back to the award presentation that we’ve followed in 2024, one of the judges give question “if all of your HR program used AI, so what is the function of human? Do you replace it with AI? Is the number of your people will be decrease significantly?

One of the biggest misconceptions about AI in the workplace is that it aims to replace human interaction. In reality, AI is designed to enhance human connection, not eliminate it. By handling repetitive tasks, AI allows employees to focus on meaningful interactions, creativity, and collaboration. AI-driven tools provide insights that help leaders connect with their teams on a deeper level, ensuring a workplace where empathy, engagement, and innovation thrive. Rather than replacing human touch, AI strengthens relationships by making workplace interactions more personalized, efficient, and impactful. Let the AI work for repetitive job, and let the human take the insight and give a little touch into the insight!
