Have you ever hear about Training Accessing Personal Genius before? Or have you ever attend the training?
In this article, I would like to share with you about what is this training talking about and what is the take away that we can get from this training in order to access our personal Genius.
Accessing Personal Genius will introduce you to Meta-States Model from Neuro-Semantics (NS), so you can have a deep understanding and:
- The ability to manage and direct your attentions so they will serve your highest intentions.
- The ability to focus all of one’s attention and energy
- The ability to step in and out of that state at will, to control mind, emotion and body
- The ability and awareness for self-acceptance, appreciation and awesome.
My understanding about this module (Accessing Personal Genius) is higher then before because I had an opportunity to learn theoretical background and to discuss it directly with Mr. Michaell Hall, the founder of International Neuro-Semantics, and developer of this module in Bali, 19-21 July 2019. It is an honour for me to be able to attend the event with 34 delegates from 14 country (China, USA, Lebanon, Egypt, etc) at this training.
Some important take away:
The “Flow” state:
- Flow also known as being in the zone. Flow is the mental state in which a person performing an activity in fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement and enjoyment in the process of activity.
- Flow were discovered by a world-famous psychologist – Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi (the most unpronounceable surname I have ever encountered lol).
- Let’s check about your experience in access “flow” state by answering this questions:
- Have you ever spent 15 minutes searching the internet which, as you find out afterwards, lasted four hours?
- Have you ever found yourself writing an article around five hours, as at first you thought that you only spend 1 hour for it?
- Or read a book shortly after lunch and a little while later noticed that the room was getting darker?
- Have you ever have an experiences where you were so involved in what you were doing that the rest of the world seemed to have disappeared?
Emotion:
- All emotions are “right” to the map (what you think) from which they arise and so valuable information about your mapping and your skills for coping with the world. The “right” is relatively and conditionally to the map-territory situation.
- If the balance between what you think (map) and what you experience (territory) is an emotion. If the scale tips downward so that you are not getting what you want,, you experience negative emotions such upset, stress, frustration, disappointment, etc. If the scale tips upward so that you are getting what you want, expect, and understand, you experience positive emotions: delight, joy, surprise, contentment, excitement, etc.
- An emotion usually arises from the difference between map an territory, what you have mapped in your head about the world and what you experience in the world.
- When you have an emotion, you are experiencing what a meaning feels like. You can feel “meaning” in your emotions. Ex: someone punch you, then your body feels hurt, the you five meaning for it as “he hates you”, and
- An emotion is only result. If you want to change emotion, so you have to change your meaning, your believe.
Intention vs attention
- By strengthening our highest intentional meanings, you can begin to live more purposefully as you access and use the higher levels of your mind to direct your everyday attentions.
Muscle Memory:
- Concepts and high level principles can be turned into “muscle memory” as you recognize when your fingers “know” a keyboard or function keys, or when your body knows how to drive. Example: one day you forget about your pin ATM number. How hard you tried to remember the number, you still didn’t get it. Then, while you desperate, you try to put your finger into keyboard and suddenly your finger can remember the pin. It’s because “muscle memory”
